* Use plastic wrap to cover the paint can before closing its lid so that it can be a good seal.
* Paint can should be closed by a mallet for getting a better seal. As mallet can be gentler, you can use hammers to bend the rim of the can. Then, paint inside the can need to be absorbed by using a towel for putting on the lid.
* Keep the paint can in upside down way so that the air can be prevented as it can dry out the paint.
* Avoid to store the paint in high temperature or low temperature. The paint need to keep in a cool and dry area.
* Make the list for identification like date of opening, brand and color.
* Do not take a label on can out because you need to know the type or color of paint inside. It is good for disposal process.
* Do not let any contaminates inside paint cans because it will difficult in disposal process or reuse it with next project.
* The paint should be kept in the safe location so that children and pets will not be harmed by the paint.
